Coordinating potential wind energy developments with the utility radio infrastructure is a potentially complex task. We would like to make the process as easy as possible for all concerned whilst being as fair as we can to all parties.
It is important for all to understand that, because our membership includes both wind energy developers and infrastructure operators, we are not in the business of denying developers permission to build a wind development because we can't be bothered to check the effect on our infrastructure properly.
These FAQs should help applicants make the most of our processing system, and also help them understand what happens if we find ourselves in a position to object to a potential development, and how the mitigation process works.
